AREA
Operated by Trinity Episcopal Church in New Orleans’ Garden District, the program at Molly’s House offers an opportunity for fourth and fifth graders to grow together in community and serves as a bridge to advanced instruction in middle school. Our renovation of an existing historic structure provides a space for volunteers to stay and church youth activities in a more comfortable and efficient environment. Space was also created for instruction and equipment in candle making, soap making, and options for events along with capabilities for serving supper at their monthly sessions. The first floor ceiling height was raised by 3′-0″, new mechanical, electrical, plumbing, front and side gallery additions were made with approval from the HDLC, as well as the restoration of exterior skin and all new interior finishes. Working with nonprofits has long been a dedication and commitment for Williams Architects. We see buildings as more than just projects, they are the structures that develop and hold communities together. For further information on this project please email info@williamsarchitects.com.
